A Huge Thank You for an Incredible First Beer & Cider Festival!
What an absolutely fantastic day!
A massive thank you goes to the incredible team of volunteers whose hard work, commitment and enthusiasm made the first ever Five Ways Old Edwardians Beer & Cider Festival such an outstanding success. Events like this don't just happen – they are the result of months of planning, countless volunteer hours and an amazing community spirit. Every single person involved should be immensely proud of what they achieved.
From the moment the gates opened, the club was buzzing with families, friends, members and visitors enjoying everything that was on offer. The inflatables kept the youngsters entertained for hours, the face painting produced hundreds of smiling faces, the food stalls served up some fantastic treats, and the live bands created an incredible atmosphere throughout the day.
Of course, no beer festival would be complete without a superb selection of beers and ciders, and they certainly didn't disappoint! It was wonderful to see so many people relaxing together, catching up with friends old and new, and enjoying everything our club has to offer.
The sporting action added another dimension to a brilliant day, with supporters packed into the clubhouse to enjoy live international rugby and football on the big screens, creating an atmosphere that rivalled many pubs and fan zones.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along. Whether you stayed for an hour or spent the whole day with us, bought a drink, enjoyed some food, brought the family, watched the sport or simply came to support the club, you helped make the event such a memorable occasion. Community events only succeed when people turn up, and your support was phenomenal.
